Transition, focus and forward: a 2019 Review from the CEO of EuroLine Windows As we
1400-Series Casement and Awning
With endless customization options and exceptionally secure multi-point locking hardware, EuroLine’s casement and awning windows are known for their exceptional craftsmanship and engineering. Our casement and awning window systems are believed to be the first vinyl window design to have earned a performance rating in the highest classification defined in the window industry and are unsurpassed in energy saving features and quality of materials.
Casement and awning windows are also often referred to as crank windows because they are opened using a cranking mechanism. The main difference between casement and awning windows is the location of the hinges in the design. Casement windows are hinged on the left of right sides of the frame and open outward. They are usually made for openings that are larger in height than width. Awning windows on the other hand, are usually hinged at the top and made for openings that have a greater width.
One of the great benefits of these windows is that they can be fully opened, providing the maximum ventilation and natural light for your space. Our casement and awning window systems feature a sleek fold-away crank system, secure multi-point locking hardware and superior thermal performance for increased energy efficiency.
