Welcome the outdoors with our versatile swing doors that are custom-built to your specifications.
These doors are available in many configurations, including single, French, and a combination of single or French with sidelites.
OUTSWING
- Multi-point locking hardware for security (top, bottom, handle side)
- Heavy hinges for continuous smooth operation in high traffic areas
- Triple seal gasket
- Easy-to-operate handle moves the multi-point locking hardware into place, compressing gaskets for a tight seal and better security
INSWING (NO TILT)
Inswing swing-only doors feature all the same advantages as outswing doors, but open to the inside where there isn’t enough room to swing the door open to the outside.
TILT & TURN
- Multi-point locking hardware for security all around
- Triple seal gasket
- Easy-to-operate handle moves the multi-point locking hardware into place, compressing gaskets for a tight seal and better security
- In the “turn” position, the sash turns inwards at the side like a regular hinged door
- In the “tilt” position, the sash tilts inwards at the top, providing draft-free, secure ventilation
- Ideal for lower-traffic areas, such as bedrooms with access to a balcony or deck
Profile
- Made from REHAU’s innovative vinyl-fibreglass material RAU-FIPRO®.
- This combination of uPVC and fibreglass provides the benefit of both materials:
Like vinyl, its surface is smooth and pore-free, preventing the growth of mould and mildew. It can be extruded in a multi-chamber design with the corners fusion-welded to guarantee a permanent and leak-free connection.
Its hybrid core provides the high stability, torsion stiffness, and static properties of fibreglass. What’s more, it is low maintenance, easy to clean, and has a low thermal expansion ratio.
- Outstanding light and weather resistance as well as colour durability
- After 10,000 hours of exposure in the Weather-Ometer, no change in colour is discernible, the notch impact strength is scarcely altered, and there is no visible change in surface gloss.
- High-impact resistant
- Essential during transportation and installation when window frames are subjected to bending and exposure to low external temperatures in winter. Under these conditions, cracking is much less likely with uPVC than with regular PVC.
- No plasticizers or lead
- 100% recyclable (where facilities exist)
- Won’t make your family sick
- Fusion-welded corners
- Corners are fusion welded for strength and to prevent air and water infiltration, as can happen with windows that are connected mechanically (e.g. fibreglass or aluminum windows).
6-chamber design
- Each chamber acts as a thermal break, providing insulation and high thermal performance.
- Thicker walls
- Give the doors more strength overall, and specifically in the corners, where more material means a better, stronger weld.
- Smooth surface for easy cleaning
- Extruded profiles are available in white only
Sill
4700-series patio doors are available with three sill options:
STANDARD SILL
- Regular frame profile at the sill of the door
- Triple seal gasket all around
- Together with the multi-point locking hardware, this results in a tight seal even at the sill
- Allows for higher floor build-up
- Most cost-effective option
LOW SILL
- Lower profile at sill
- Triple seal gasket all around
- Together with the multi-point locking hardware, this results in a tight seal even at the sill
- Nailing flange not available on low sill
BARRIER FREE SILL
While mostly used on main entry doors, the barrier free sill is available on patio doors where wheelchair accessibility is needed. This sill features one compression gasket.
Because tilt & turn doors require locking points on the sill, they are best combined with the standard or sill, rather than a barrier free sill.
Reinforcement
While the fibreglass in the 4700-series provides strength and rigidity, ThermoPlus doors are partially reinforced with roll-formed galvanized steel that is fastened to the profile.

Hardware
Multi-point locking hardware by ROTO FRANK
- Number of locking points increases with door size
- Seals out harsh weather
- Makes it virtually impossible for intruders to break into your home through the frame
- RotoSill Nano coating
- Offers the highest available surface protection. Through galvanizing, chromating, and additional sealing, the hardware becomes extremely scratch and corrosion resistant. If the surface is lightly scratched, the coating “heals” itself, continuing to provide protection against corrosion.
- Single-handle operation
- All locking points are simultaneously operated simply by the turn of a single handle
- Makes the door easy to operate even for children and people with limited mobility.
Locks
STANDARD HANDLE-OPERATED LOCK (NO CYLINDER)
- Locked from the inside by turning the handles to engage the multi-point locking hardware (just like windows)
- Exterior has a static pull tab (active side only on French doors)
- Can be used to move the sash, but cannot operate the hardware, meaning that the sash will still swing freely, as there is no latch. This also means that the door can only be locked and unlocked from the interior.
- Balcony catch
- Patio doors do not have latches; a balcony catch lightly holds the sash in the frame (or closed passive side on French doors)
- In windy weather, the door needs to be closed to avoid the sash swinging freely
- Typical application:
- Doors leading out to balconies, where it is not necessary to fully close the door when outside, or access the house through this door.
HALF CYLINDER
- Thumbturn on the interior to lock the door
- Exterior handle allows the door to be closed (not locked) from the exterior
- Typical application:
- Deck doors, where one may want to fully close the door while outside, but where keyed access is not required
- Walkout basement
FULL KEYLOCK
- Thumbturn on the interior to lock the door
- Exterior handle allows the door to be closed (not locked) from the exterior
- Exterior keylock allows the door to be (un)locked from the exterior
- Typical application:
- Mudroom doors, where access from the exterior is required
Glazing
Comes standard with:
- 24mm dual-pane tempered insulated glass unit (IGU)
- One coating of LoE 270
- Argon gas fill
- Warm edge SuperSpacer®
- Available with 44mm triple pane IGU
- Tempering the glass strengthens it and makes it safer in case of accident, as it shatters into small, dull pieces rather than sharp glass shards.
- The LoE soft coating improves energy efficiency by reflecting radiant heat from the sun back out in the summer, keeping the interior of the house cool, and reflecting radiant heat from heating back inside in the winter, resulting in less heating being needed. In addition, the LoE coating also reduces UV transmittance, which helps save your furniture from fading.
- Because argon gas is heavier than air, it is a better insulator. Using argon gas between the glass panes results in less heat transfer, which means less moisture and ice buildup on the glass.
The spacer that is used in the IGU also plays a very important role in how it performs. Metal spacers not only transfer much more heat, they also are more likely to fail, allowing the argon gas to escape, moisture to enter, and mold to grow. This is the reason why all EuroLine windows have a Super Spacer – a warm edge technology spacer that significantly improves glass performance. After a 5-year high-humidity test it was found that 99% of the argon was retained.
- Since EuroLine does not use glazing tape and dry glazes all units, glass replacement is fast and easy if it ever becomes necessary.
- In standard applications IGUs are glazed from the interior for security
AIR INFILTRATION
Windows are rated with respect to the rate of air infiltration per unit length of the window opening against winds at 40 km/h (25 mi/h).

WATER RESISTANCE
Windows are rated with respect to the rate of water sprayed against the window surface at different pressure levels.

WIND LOAD
The window is subjected to several levels of pressure applied inwards and outwards. To satisfy a given level of performance, the window must simultaneously fulfill both performance criteria.
